Hailey played her first soccer season this year! She played through the Mill Creek YMCA, and had a blast. I obviously would love it if she continued to play soccer and "follow in my footsteps", but I guess we'll have to let her make that decision :)
As far as we can tell she loved playing and we think she did a great job! She usually liked to just run behind the pack of kids, but not touch the ball. At the last game, we decided to do the worlds best parenting technique... bribbery! We told her that we would pay her 25 cents every time she touched the ball (seeing that she hadn't touch the ball in a game all season). So, what did she do right after we told her that... ran out and dribbled the ball down the field. Nevermind the fact she went in the wrong direction, we were just excited for her, and mad at ourselves for not thinking of throwing money at her sooner, haha!
She did a great job, and we are already excited for next season!!!

Watching the first game with Grandpa Keith... it was Hailey's turn to sit out, so she joined us :)
Pre-game stretches... cracks me up, haha
