We arrived around 5:00pm Friday night, had some dinner and got camp set up. Sat we woke up early, did some fishing, went for lunch in the town of Winthrop (cute little western themed town), then headed back to camp for the kids to take naps. When they woke up, we packed up and headed to the Perrygin lake state park/beach for a few hours to swim and play in the sand. Packed up, headed to camp, had some dinner, then into town we went again for some YUMMY homemade ice cream. Sunday we did a little more fishing, packed up camp and headed home. Great trip!
Our drive of about 4 hours went well. Hailey got car sick on the way there, which was a bummer, but we got all the windows rolled down for fresh air along the North Cascade Highway and that seemed to help with the curvy road. Once we got to camp though she was so excited to get out and play and loved every minute of the trip! Luckily, on the way home she slept the entire 4 hours, so we didn't have to worry about her getting sick again.
